Day Camp

A day camp program that runs from 9am to 4:40pm M-F, this program offers local campers the opportunity to experience camp while getting to sleep in their own bed at night. Perfect for campers who aren't quite ready to take the plunge into overnight camp!

"My son started as a Day Camper, and had a blast. It was wonderful having the option to introduce him to camp before he was ready to stay away from home!"

- Parent of a former Day Camper (now an Overnight Camper!)

Overview

Ages: 7-10

Our Day Camp is the perfect introduction to the camp experience for kids aged 7-10. It offers a chance to enjoy all the fun of camp and still be home for dinner! Set in our expansive 450+ acre property in Southfield, MA, this program includes exciting activities like waterfront swimming and boating on Harmon Pond, as well as access to our main lodge and playing fields.

Day Campers are under the care of dedicated staff, specially chosen for their skills in guiding younger children. They'll be part of our vibrant Base Camp community, participating in key activities like morning all-camp events, lunch, and two afternoon skill classes. It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to gain confidence, build new skills, and make lasting friendships.

Morning All Camp Activity

Get ready for the highlight of the day at WA WA Segowea - the All Camp Activities! This is where all campers come together to participate in a single activity. It's not just about playing; it's about building friendships outside the cabin unit, teamwork, and creating unforgettable camp memories. Each morning there is a new activity - from classics like Capture the Flag and Scavenger Hunt, to game shows and Olympic-style competitions!
