Overnight Base and Teen Camp
Each 2-week overnight session starts on a Sunday and ends on a Friday. Campers stay at camp for the full duration of the 2-week session. Session breaks are available for campers who cannot return home between sessions. See our Programs page for more information about the Base and Teen camp programs.
Rookie - A 1-week Base Camp Experience
Rookie camp is a shortened Base Camp experience for campers who aren't ready to make a two-week commitment to overnight camping. It takes place on the first week of Session 3 of Base Camp. Email info@smithpark.org to find out if this program is right for your camper!
Soft Start - A 2 night, 3 day Base Camp Experience with Extra Support
A welcoming, mainstream program designed for campers who may need a little extra support easing into the camp experience. It’s ideal for children with higher sensory needs, those on the autism spectrum, those who aren’t quite ready for a full week away from home, or those with developmental disabilities. With a shorter stay and a low camper-to-counselor ratio (10:2), Soft Start offers a supportive and structured introduction to camp life. See the Soft Start Camp page for more information. Leadership Camp
Our Leadership Camp is divided into two distinct programs tailored for 1st-year and 2nd-year participants, by application only. The 1st-year CITs engage in a comprehensive 4-week session, designed to build foundational leadership skills. For 2nd-year CITs who have already completed the 1st year of Leadership Camp, the program offers flexible 2-week intervals throughout the summer, and allows for more in-depth leadership experiences. Reflecting their increased responsibility, the pricing for 2nd-year CITs is adjusted accordingly. Visit our Leadership Camp page for more information.
